#RecFromHome

While our physical locations are closed, we remain committed to helping our community stay engaged and active during the ongoing COVID-19 situation. For this reason, we’re pleased to launch a new #RecFromHome webpage that will serve as a hub for virtual recreation and culture activities brought to you by our talented staff and instructors.

The page features printable and video activities such as art exhibit tours and workouts to help you get your dose of recreation from the comfort of your own home. New activities are being added daily, so be sure to keep checking back.

Stay Connected

In addition to the City’s current social media accounts, we’ve now launched a Facebook page dedicated to our 50+ Recreation Centres and an Instagram account for Cambridge Youth. Along with Older Adult and Youth-specific topics, the accounts will allow these groups to keep in touch with each other, even while we’re all apart. Physical distancing does not mean we can’t be social.

Although the Older Adults day program and Friendly Visiting Program have been suspended until further notice, the Without Walls (WOW) telephone service will continue. This program offers groups of 5 to 10 people the opportunity to get together over the phone for conversation, trivia games, bingo, and even musical sessions.
