Update: City Snow Event Canceled as of 3 p.m. today
Posted on Monday February 27, 2023
UPDATE - As crews have finished plowing on all residential roads, the snow event has been canceled as of 3 p.m. Thank you to residents for your cooperation.
The City of Cambridge has declared a snow event. This means that beginning at 11:59 p.m. tonight:
- Vehicles should not be parked on any city street at any time for the duration of the snow event, which is in effect for 24 hours from the start time. This allows snow plows to clear more efficiently and safely. Vehicles left on the road may be ticketed and/or towed.
- Sidewalks should be cleared within 36 hours following the end of snowfall. Snow should not be shoveled onto the road.
City snow plows are already out clearing roads. They do so based on provincial guidelines and a priority schedule with primary and secondary roads cleared first and residential roads cleared last.
