Posted on Monday July 08, 2019

Don’t miss Waterloo Region's only Scottish Festival on July 19 and 20. The two-day festival features traditional games, food, music, exhibitors and speakers.

On Friday, July 19, the event kicks off in Churchill Park with a Celtic Rock concert. Headlining the evening is the Mudmen, who will take the stage to showcase their famous Celtic energy. For the first time at the Cambridge Scottish Festival, the American Rogues will also take the stage with their epic, multi-instrumental sound. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the music starts at 6 p.m.

The Festival continues into Saturday starting with fun for both the Scots and the Scottish at heart. The Saturday Highland Games will be held at Churchill Park, 200 Christopher Dr., beginning at 8:30 a.m. The event will showcase an exciting lineup of food vendors, talented pipe bands, dancers, and athletes from throughout Ontario and beyond.

Event-goers can also learn more about Scottish heritage with the “Avenue of Clans” and heritage tent. Additional event attractions include classic cars, blacksmiths, tug-of-war and highland cattle.

Come and celebrate with us the rich Scottish culture and traditions of the Province of Ontario and in Waterloo Region.

Tickets are available via the festivals website and through local ticket partners. Tickets are also available on the day at the gate.
