National Public Works Week, May 15- 21

Posted on Friday May 13, 2022

The City of Cambridge recognizes National Public Works Week (NPWW), Sunday, May 15 to Saturday, May 21.

Public Works plays an essential role in safeguarding and enhancing the quality of life for all of us. Public Works professionals are the caretakers of our city, ensuring everything from the water we drink to the roads we travel on and the parks we visit are safe.

Each year, NPWW has a unique theme. This year it is “Ready and Resilient.” As we reflect on the past few years, this theme has significant importance. It highlights the fact that public works professionals are always ready to serve our community and have continued to do so and be resilient when faced with challenges, such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

We thank all our Public Works professionals for their tireless commitment to serving our growing community and for going above and beyond working for you, our community members.
