Regular Schedule of Cambridge City Council Postponed

Please note that the regular schedule of Council, Standing Committee and Citizen Advisory Committee meetings has been suspended until further notice. This includes sub-committee, planning, briefing or other meetings associated with regularly scheduled meetings.

The Council meeting scheduled for tomorrow evening (March 17, 2020) will be postponed to a future date.

“As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve around the world and in our local community, our goal is first and foremost to keep our City, our residents and our staff healthy and safe and to reduce the further spread of the virus,” said Cambridge Mayor Kathryn McGarry. “These are unprecedented times calling for unprecedented measures.”

The City of Cambridge is closely monitoring the situation and, in consultation with Region of Waterloo Public Health and Emergency Services, taking a range of proactive measures to help protect the community.
