City offering one-day camp on Dec. 4 for students affected by strike

Due to announcement from the Waterloo Region District School Board that there will be a one day strike on Wednesday, Dec. 4, the City of Cambridge will be offering a one day camp at the W.G. Johnson Centre and the John Dolson Centre for ages 4-12.

Both camps will run from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. The fee is $40, inclusive of before and after care. 

Spaces are limited, so register early to secure your spot. Registration will open at noon today, Dec. 2.

Drop in programs

In addition to the registered camp, the W.G. Johnson Centre also offers drop-in programming if older students are looking for something to do during the day. Drop-in rates apply.

W.G. Johnson

  • Splash Swim: 10:30 - 11:35 a.m.
  • Open Gym: 11 a.m. - noon
  • Leisure Swim: 2 - 4 p.m.

John Dolson Centre

  • Leisure Swim: 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
  • Leisure Swim: 1 -3 p.m.
