Bernice Adams Award recipients announced

Last night the City of Cambridge’s Cultural Awards Committee announced the recipients of the 42nd Annual Bernice Adams Awards at the annual awards ceremony.

This year the following individuals were recognized for their contributions to artistic and cultural life in Cambridge:

• Dr. Narine Dat Sookram - Heart of the Arts
• Elisa Yuan Charbonneau - Outstanding Youth
• Heather Kocsis - Visual Arts
• Jason Blair - Performing Arts
• June Anderson - Literary Arts
• Randy Moore - Communication
• Karen Johannes - Music

The Bernice Adams Awards were established in 1982 to honour former City Councillor Bernice Adams and her efforts to advance the creative community in Cambridge.
