The City of Cambridge is committed to transparency, accountability and on-going communication with residents. To ensure this, we work with local media to provide important information on City programs, services and other initiatives.

Staff are available to respond to media inquiries during regular operating hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

All media inquiries should be directed to corpcomm@cambridge.ca and include the reporter’s contact information and deadline.

Please note: The City of Cambridge will only respond to inquiries made outside business hours if they are related to an immediate emergency or urgent operational matter. Other requests will be addressed during regular business hours.

The City of Cambridge is pleased to once again be hosting the community Oktoberfest Lunch at City Hall. After two years of COVID-19 restrictions, Oktoberfest returns to Civic Square at Cambridge City Hall on October 5, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
All are welcome to attend this free public event, with donations to the Cambridge Food Bank encouraged. There will be a ceremonial keg tapping, Bavarian music, maypole raising, appearances by Onkel Hans and Tante Frieda and free Oktoberfest...

INVEST Cambridge is excited to welcome a film crew to the city on Monday, September 26, 2022. Crews will be set up along Blenheim Rd and community members are asked to avoid this location, if possible. In case of rain, the date will change to Wednesday, September 28.

King Fountain lane closureBeginning Sunday, September 18 from approximately 8 p.m. - 6 a.m. lane closures will take place at King St. and Fountain St. while crews perform sanitary sewer repairs.
Work will be done during non-peak hours in order to have minimal disruptions to traffic.
Lane closures may continue nightly until Tuesday, September 20.
