Snow Event in EffectA snow event will be in effect for the City of Cambridge beginning this evening, Saturday, Jan. 18, at 5 p.m. for 24 hours until 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19.
Any vehicles parked on-street during the snow event may be ticketed and/or towed.
Residents are also reminded not to push snow from their driveway onto the road.

Update – Jan 13, 2020 – 11:05 a.m.
The flows in the Grand River and Speed River through Cambridge peaked Sunday morning and receded during the day but will remain elevated all week. Please continue to use caution around all water bodies and keep children and pets back from the banks. See below for closure updates.

Blackbridge Road and Rogers Drive remain closed; all other roads have reopened.

A winter storm with the potential to produce substantial snowfall is expected Wednesday evening through Thursday which may prompt the City to declare a Snow Event.  Any vehicle parked on street during a Snow Event can be ticketed or towed.
Residents are also reminded not to push snow from their driveway onto the road.

The W.G. Johnson Centre is closed Tuesday, November 26 from 6 to 10 a.m. for repairs.  The closure includes the whole building; pool, land and conditioning room. 
We will reopen at 10 a.m. for regular programming and the first swim begins at 11:30 a.m. as scheduled.
