Staff are available to respond to media inquiries during regular operating hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

The Significant Weather Event impacting the City of Cambridge will end as of Wednesday, March 5 at 11:59 a.m.
City crews have worked to clear roads and sidewalks back to winter maintenance standards. Some residential roads may still be narrower than usual, and residents are reminded to continue exercising caution while traveling.

The City of Cambridge is cancelling the current Snow Event effective 11:59 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025. The on-street parking ban will be lifted once the Snow Event is cancelled.

Based on weather conditions, the City of Cambridge is extending the current Snow Event until further notice. A Significant Weather Event (SWE) is also still in effect. Please use extra caution if travelling during this event.
A parking ban remains in effect as plows continue to work to clear roads in priority order. Parked cars prevent plow operators from fully clearing the roads. By-law staff will be actively enforcing this ban, and vehicles left on the road may be ticketed...

The Hespeler Scout House is Closed temporarily due to a mecchanical issue as of Saturday February 15th @ 12noon. As soon as the issue has been resolved an update will be shared and the Scout House will re-open.

The City of Cambridge has declared a Significant Weather Event and a Snow Event in the area because of anticipated winter weather conditions. This declaration will continue until further notice and means that:
