Sub Standard Right of Way Study

The City of Cambridge has initiated a study to develop Engineering Design Standards for substandard road allowances which currently have a right-of-way width less than 14 m. The City of Cambridge is planning on reconstructing various roadways within the City that are currently substandard in width. In addition, the study will develop Design Standards for substandard right-of-ways within Heritage Conservation Districts and Character Areas.

A Public Information Centre (PIC) was held April 18th from 6pm-8pm at Cambridge City Hall - Bowman Room, 50 Dickson Street, Cambridge

The public was invited to review and comment on the development of design standards at two Public Information Centres. This PICs consisted of an informal drop-in centre with display boards to obtain public input on the identification and analysis of alternative design standards. Representatives from the City and Consultant Project Team were present to answer questions and discuss the next steps in the study.
