Monthly Parking Permits

The City designates some of the parking spaces in the Core Area parking lots for monthly permit parking. Permits are only valid one specific parking lot. These permits are available on a first come first served basis, however, a waiting list is also maintained for each parking lot. There is a monthly fee charged for the parking permit.

Reserved On-street Parking Permits

These are temporary permits that may be purchased by an individual or contractors who are conducting renovations to a building in the core area. There is a set fee that is charged per vehicle per space for each day the parking space is occupied.

Disabled Parking Permits

Disabled parking permits are issued by the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario. Permit applications are available at:

Vehicles must clearly display a valid disabled parking permit at all times when parked in a designated disabled parking space. All other vehicles will be subject to a $301.00 parking fine.
