If you are contemplating alterations to your driveway entrance the following rules and regulations must be followed:

1. Zoning By-law 150-85 limits the width and location of all driveway entrances. Therefore, before any alterations can be made, the proposed work must be approved by the City of Cambridge.
   
   
2. Due to liability concerns and future maintenance problems, the City of Cambridge policy is that all alterations to the concrete sidewalk, concrete curb or gutter and boulevard area for a new driveway or driveway widening be completed by the City of Cambridge's concrete contractor at the owner's expense.
   
   
3. Any alterations completed without City of Cambridge approval could be removed by the City's contractor and restored to the original condition at the owner's expense.
