Preston Towne Market
When: Thursdays from June 5 to October 9, 2014
Time: 9am to 2pm
Where: Central Park in the Preston Downtown Core (corner of King E. and Argyle) Cambridge.
It's that time of year again when locally grown produce is showing up in greater quantities. Located in Central Park, local produce vendors gather every Thursday from early June until the week of Thanksgiving.
Thames Rivers Melons and Kendies Fruits and Vegetables bring fresh produce from their table to yours, along with Cambridge's Famous Scottish Rising Dough Bakery with their freshly baked goods. Garlic King, Boutique Baker and the Preston Chip Wagon are just a few of the dozen vendors who arrive on a weekly basis, rain or shine.
Shop, stay for lunch, enjoy the splash pad, live music, and live story readings from Cambridge Library and Galleries, all in an open, charming atmosphere on the corner of King St. E and Argyle.
Special Events at the Market:
July 3 - Kids' Day
July 10 - Community Day
July 17 - Art in the Park
