Business Improvement Areas (BIAs)
The City of Cambridge is one of few communities with three vibrant downtown core areas all with unique history and commercial opportunity.
Galt on the Grand, one of three unique core areas in Cambridge, features historical buildings complete with walking trails winding along the Grand River and is known for its European look and flair.
Hespeler Village combines the beauty of nature with a charming village setting. Located just 5 minutes from the 401 and only 15 minutes from Guelph, Kitchener and Waterloo, the Speed River, dam and 80 acre millpond enhances the Hespeler Village core.
Preston Towne Centre is in the busy west end of Cambridge starting at Union Street and extending to Fountain Street. There are wonderful locally run businesses scattered throughout the downtown area including cafes, department stores such as Giant Tiger located in the Grist Mill Centre and other small specialty shops.
