Official Plan
An official plan is a policy document that sets out a municipality's general land use objectives and provides direction for future development and other planning activities. It also makes sure that growth is coordinated and meets your community needs.
Cambridge's current Official Plan was adopted by City Council by By-law No. 177-97 on September 22, 1997 and approved with modifications by the Regional Municipality of Waterloo on July 14, 1999, with the exception of those deferrals and appeals cited in this document.
