Our Vision 2031
City of Cambridge Vision 2031
"Cambridge celebrates the uniqueness of its founding communities and is united by its heritage, rivers, cultures and common future.
Cambridge residents and visitors enjoy the natural environment, safe, clean, caring, sustainable and accessible neighbourhoods, with a wide variety of lifestyle and housing options and ample cultural and recreational opportunities.
Cambridge, as a community of opportunity, encourages business growth and transition, entrepreneurial spirit, strong leadership, efficient government and the provision of municipal services, personal growth and civic pride."
On January 11, 2011 the City of Cambridge held a well attended visioning workshop with a variety of community representatives, members of Cambridge City Council and staff. Almost 60 people attended the workshop to help determine the priorities and strategic initiatives for the City and help prepare a 20 year vision for Cambridge.

Participants enthusiastically worked in small groups to develop their ideas for the vision and then reported back to all of the participants about their suggestions.
Many positive ideas were shared such as public and private partnerships, downtown areas development and the importance of the rivers.
Thank you to all of those who participated
