Property Standards
The City inspects buildings and/or properties when there is a complaint concerning interior or exterior conditions. These inspections ensure compliance with the City of Cambridge's Property Standards By-law regulating property maintenance and occupancy standards. These standards are intended to remedy issues of public or occupant safety in or around existing buildings or on vacant land.

Property Standards Committee
The decisions of the Property Standards Officer may be appealed to the Committee established pursuant to the Property Standards By-Law.
