Fee Schedules
To review the Building and Enforcement Fee Schedule, see document below.
Other Required Information
Please be aware that the building division may require additional information to process the building permits. This may include a Part 9 Commitment Form (generally, structures < 600 m2) or a Part 3 Commitment Form (generally, structures > 600 m2) signed by the professional engineers and/or architects involved with the project. Both forms are located in Related Documents below.
If a septic system is proposed, 2 copies of a report prepared by a qualified designer is required with the application.
If installing a spray booth or dust collector, verification from the Ministry of Environment that an appropriate application has been made will also be required prior to permit issuance.
Depending on the location of your proposed construction, approval from the Grand River Conservation Authority (G.R.C.A.) or the Ministry of Transportation may also be required.
It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure all required information is submitted to the building division.
This page provides general information and should be read in conjunction with the current Building By-Law. For further information, please call the building division at 519.740.4613.
