2009 Ontario Hockey Federation Bantam A Championships
Hespeler Minor Hockey All Set to Host All Ontario Finals

A great weekend of Championship minor hockey is set for April 10-12th in Cambridge. Hespeler Minor Hockey Association (HMHA) will play host to the 2009 Ontario Hockey Federation Bantam A Championships. Champions from the 4 member groups of the OHF: The Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA), The Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL), The Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA)and The Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario (MHAO) as well as the host Hespeler Shamrocks will faceoff at Hespeler Memorial Arena in a round robin finals tournament.
The weekend will begin with a banquet Thursday night for players, team officials, and league and OHF dignitaries and wraps up Sunday with the awarding of the OHF Championship trophy.
The Ontario Hockey Federation is a Branch of Hockey Canada which is the self-governing body of all amateur hockey in Canada. As the largest of the 13 Branches of Hockey Canada, the OHF has jurisdiction over most of the province of Ontario. There are over 185,000 players playing on more than 11,000 registered teams and over 25,000 coaches, trainers and officials who make hockey programs possible within the Federation.
Hespeler Minor Hockey Association administers the hockey program within Hespeler for 820 children annually offering representative A and AE hockey as well as house league from ages 5-18.
