Doug Tennant - Deputy Fire Chief
Deputy Fire Chief Douglas Tennant started his career in the Ontario fire service as a volunteer firefighter with the Cumberland Township Fire Department (now Ottawa) in June 1978. He has served the public as a firefighter/officer in several ranks and divisions within the fire services of Kanata Fire Department, Severn Township Fire and Emergency Services and the Office of the Fire Marshal (Ontario).
Deputy Chief Tennant acquired the advanced Fire Protection Technology Diploma from the Ontario Fire College and is a graduate of Carleton University with an Honours Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts - Law degree.
Deputy Chief Tennant joined the Cambridge Fire Department in August 2005 and currently supervises the Communications, Mechanical and Emergency Planning Divisions of the Cambridge Fire Department as Deputy Fire Chief of Administration.
