Free Emergency Preparedness Workshop
Are you prepared to protect yourself and your family in the event of a disaster?
Wednesday, August 4th, 2010
In the last 10 years Ontario has experienced several major emergencies. In 2003 the blackout affected 10 million people in Ontario, in 2009 a major tornado ripped through the GTA, and recently Canadians experienced an earthquake that streteched from Quebec to Southwestern Ontario.

At the workshop you will learn:
- How to determine the risks in your community
- About the different types of disasters that can affect you
- How to develop a home evacuation plan
- How to be prepared up to 72 hours following a disaster
This workshop will also take place on Monday, August 9th, same time and place.
6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
