The Community Services Department works to ensure recreation facilities, programs, green spaces and consultation services are provided for the enjoyment and well-being of the citizens of Cambridge. These services ensure that all residents, regardless of their recreational interests, capabilites, or financial status are able to participate.

It is the policy of the City of Cambridge Community Services Department to work in partnership with volunteer groups and organizations in the city in providing recreation opportunities.

The City of Cambridge recognizes the value of recreation services and celebrates the personal, social, economic and environmental benefits that these programs and services provide.
