What follows is a summary list of resources of potential interest to genealogists and other like-minded researchers as of June 1996:

1. OGS Grave Marker Transcriptions:
Here is a list of cemetery transcriptions produced by the OGS (Ontario Genealogical Society) that are available within our local archives. But the distant researcher might be better advised to consult the Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid on the Internet for live searches.

3. Vernon's Directories:
Galt and Preston start 1912. Hespeler starts 1973 with amalgamation.

4. Marriage Licence Records:

10. Grace Russ Scrapbooks (1939-1945):
Contains newspaper articles related to local individuals who served in the Second World War. Completely indexed.

11. Miscellaneous Local History Publications:
