Cambridge Municipal Heritage Advisory Committee (formally LACAC)
The principal function of the Cambridge Municipal Heritage Advisory Committee is to provide advice to Council on the preservation of buildings and properties pursuant to the Ontario Heritage Act. The Committee meets monthly -- generally on the third Thursday of the month -- at 7:00pm at the Historic City Hall, Cambridge Room, 2nd Floor, 46 Dickson St. The meetings are open and the public is welcome.

Archives Board
The purpose and objectives of the Archives Board of the City of Cambridge are:
- to promote the collection, restoration, preservation and exhibition of documents, pictures and manuscripts of historical significance that relate to the social and economic development of the City of Cambridge and its predecessor municipalities and the accessibility of those records under suitable conditions to the general public to be read, studied and enjoyed.
- to advise Council on Archives issues.
- to support the continued physical and financial development of the City of Cambridge Archives.
