Zoning By-law - Administration and Amendments

Zoning By-law Administration:

The City of Cambridge Zoning By-Law (No.150-85) enacted on October 27th, 1986, regulates the use of land and provides regulations for the siting of buildings and structures, parking facilities, planting strips and fencing.

For a comprehensive understanding of the purpose and regulations, reference to the current consolidation and amendments to the By-law is recommended.

Amendments:

Zoning By-law Amendments are applications to alter the City of Cambridge Zoning By-law to allow a use which the By-law does not currently allow.

The Zoning By-law Amendment process is approximately four (4) to six (6) months.
